North Macedonia’s Agency for Innovation and Technological Development (INOVA) launched a EUR 25 million project to support the green transformation of companies in the 2026–2030 period. Grants ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 300,000 will be available for small, micro and medium-sized enterprises.
The grant scheme amounts to EUR 25 million, with companies required to co-finance between 20% and 50% of the investment. The first public calls are expected in mid-2026.
The initiative aims to support at least 300 companies, including around 200 that will receive assistance in implementing international environmental standards. Funding includes EUR 18 million from the EU and EUR 7 million from the national Budget. The project contributes to the European Green Deal and the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
