Belgium receives innovation award at CES Consumer Electronic Fair in Las Vegas

Belgium as a country received an innovation award at one of the most important innovation fairs.

Belgium was present with a common stand of AWEX Wallonia Export & Investment Agency representing 13 startups and five Flemish companies, including Leuven research centre imec and its spin-off MICLEDI microdisplays, which specializes in developing micro displays for augmented reality glasses. Other Flemish companies taking part are moonbird, which makes a handheld breathing device, Nobi Smart Lamps, which manufactures smart lights for the healthcare sector, and Custo, which provides smart mailboxes.
