Belgian Sunport MSIE to invest in North Macedonia

A new Belgian investment in North Macedonia was announced on May 23rd, 2024. Belgian company M.S.I.E. is set to invest over EUR 5 million and create 150 jobs in the first stage of its investment. The company is assessing the municipalities of Petrovec and Ilinden as possible options for the construction of a production capacity for the production of solar film.

The company was created 2007 in Asia and the European MSIE set up 2018 in Brussels. R&D is done in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company claims to have a production factory in China with a production capacity of 100 MW/year and the option to scale to 1.4 GW/year.
