Construction of new railway section from Kriva Palanka to the border with Republic of Bulgaria, as part of Corridor VIII

The project consists in provision of detailed design, NoBo (Notified Body -an independent body, whose competences for performing a conformity assessment for one or more TSIs have been notified to the European Commission by a Member State) certification, revision, obtaining construction permit, and construction of new railway section from Kriva Palanka to the border with the Republic of Bulgaria, under FIDIC Conditions of Contract, Yellow Book (1999). Detailed design and construction of a new railway section (section 3) consisting of 23.4 km of single-track line (total track length with sidings in the station and station/halt is approximately 27.5 km), with 60E1 rails, concrete sleepers and ballast (except long tunnels in which slab-track is envisaged) including but not limited to: 22 tunnels (about 9 km, including one at the border crossing), 52 bridges/viaducts (about 5 km), railway station in Kriva Palanka, new station/halt in Zhidilovo.
