Meeting DPM Arben Fetai and the Belgian Community

The Belgian community had the occasion to meet the Deputy President of the Government in charge of Good Governance Arben Fetai.

Arben Fetai owns double citizenship:  of the Republic of North Macedonia and of the Kingdom of Belgium. He began his higher education in Belgium, where he studied political science at the University of Liège from 1999 to 2001. Afterwards, he continued his education at the Free University in Brussels where he obtained a diploma on political science and international relations (2001-2003).  In the period 2003-2006 Arben specialised in the area of European studies at the Institute for European Studies in Belgium. In recent years, Fetai has worked as a global advocacy coordinator at Aidsfonds in Brussels and as executive director of the Arben Xhaferi Institute for Public Policy in Skopje.

The first meeting was with Belgian Honorary consul Elena Nikodinovska. Bilateral relations were discussed and it was agreed to work together to promote more investments, support of more exports and more & better paid jobs, as well as in other issues concerning both countries.

The Deputy Prime Minister also accepted an invitation to the BMBC culinary-cultural-social boat tour on Ohrid lake to celebrate the Belgian National Day the following day, and last but not least visited our board member Jovica Simovski, General Manager at PerfectID Central Europe, in his company.
