Belgian workers are the most mobile in Europe in 2024, with an average daily commute of 39 kilometers and a travel time of 53 minutes, according to a study by HR specialist SD Worx. This puts Belgium ahead of Denmark and Italy, where workers also travel significant distances. Belgian employees are willing to commute up to 48 kilometers per day, higher than the European average of 40 kilometers.
