Who does not know Idefix (Dogmatix in English), the small dog and companion of Obelix? Now he gets his first exhibition that focusses only on him.

In honour of Asterix’s 65th anniversary, the Comics Art Museum in Brussels presents a special exhibition dedicated to Dogmatix (Idéfix), the tiny but brave canine companion of Obelix. This his first solo showcase, tracing his journey from a minor mention in Le Tour de Gaule d’Astérix to his starring role in the animated series Idéfix et les Irréductibles.

Visitors can explore Dogmatix’s evolution through original boards, archival materials and interactive displays.

Perfect for families, the exhibition offers hands-on activities designed to engage younger visitors, bringing Dogmatix’s charming world to life and celebrating his status as one of the most beloved characters in the Asterix universe.

The exhibition takes place from Dec. 18th till March 9th in Comic Art Museum in Brussels
