ABEE Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering explores all aspects of battery life, from cell production to battery pack systems to the final stage recycling. North Macedonia will be the second site after Belgium.
The construction of the factory in North Macedonia has officially begun in December in TIRZ Kičevo, with the first phase representing an investment of 10,000,000 euros. This phase is expected to create at least 120 new jobs.

The factory will specialize in the production of Battery Management Systems (BMS) – critical components ensuring the safety, efficiency, and performance of energy storage systems.
Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering was established at the end of 2019 by Noshin Omar, former professor at the Free University of Brussels. The company has more than 25 projects in development and 10 000 units are produced annually.
