A team of our Belgian First Aid and Support Team (B-FAST) will depart for North-Macedonia to help provide urgent medical care to the many victims of the tragic fire last night.
This was announced by the Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever on Twitter Sunday night.
Belgian First Aid and Support Team (B-FAST) is the Belgian government’s rapid intervention structure that provides emergency assistance in the event of disasters abroad. B-FAST is an cross-departmental unit, spanning the Prime Minister’s office, Federal Public Services Foreign Affairs, External Trade and Development Cooperation, Public Health & Environment, Home Affairs and Budget, as well as the Ministry of Defence.
