You need to know base information of a European company, like if they really exist, who are the legal representatives or other information? You might be familiar with your national register. But now EU has created the Business Registers Interconnection System (BRIS). It allows you to search for and access company information from the national business registers. And what used to cost money and was complicated to use, has now a unique interface and most information is free of charge.

Imagine you know about a Daimler Truck factory in Czech Republic. You go to the register, type “Daimler Truck” and search in Czech Republic. No need to be familiar with the language of the brave soldier Schwejk for your search, you are guided to the company in Holýšov and can consult 142 documents. You can filter and download what you need.
