The total number of unemployed persons in the country is decreasing, from 96 731 in January to 95 032 in August. There was a jump in June – when school ends – but the number is now the lowest in the year.
What would be perfect news in Western countries, can also be a hint on emigration in countries like North Macedonia. Also, July and August offer many jobs in tourism.
The largest group of unemployed are citizens between 55 and 59 years.
