Truck drivers from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that on January 26, all border crossings for freight to Schengen countries will be blocked due to problems caused by the new Entry/Exit System (EES).
A blockage will bring difficulties also for Macedonian factories that deliver the Schengen area or the UK by truck.
In theory, this blockage should not affect passenger traffic. But this would need a certain discipline to let the passenger traffic flow to the border alongside the trucks.
