General Tourism growth in 2024
In 2024, Luxembourg led EU tourism with a 22% increase in overnight stays. Also by Albania (15.2 %) and North Macedonia (13.85 %) experienced growth. Overall, EU tourism rose to 2 %. Global tourism is projected to grow by 18 %, exceeding pre-Corona levels by 2 %.
