Belgium new car sales August 2025: BMW back to #1, BYD (+90.6%), Hyundai (+83.1%) stand out
In August, Belgium experienced a 10.9% decline in new car sales year-on-year, totaling 26,120 units. BMW leads with a 13.8% market share, followed by VW, Mercedes, and Audi. BYD achieved a record 18th place, showcasing significant growth with an increase of 90.6%, along with Hyundai at 83.1%.

Wizz Air increases airline connections to Skopje and Ohrid
Wizz Air will launch five new routes in April 2026, connecting Naples and Budapest to Skopje, and Katowice, Wroclaw, and Milan to Ohrid. The airline will station six Airbus A321 neos in Skopje, increasing staff from 200 to 300. Wizz Air’s fleet includes 47 A321 XLRs, enhancing efficiency and sustainability.
