Mark, which typical dish would you recommend to a visitor from Belgium?

The famous shopska salad first comes to mind, served with a glass of rakia, of course !

The well-known tavce grafce, grilled kebapi (sausages), sheep cheese, grilled garlic flavored peppers, all served with a good local beer…

Shopska salata: chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, peppers topped with feta cheese

Tavce grafce: white kidney beans and other vegetables baked on a Tava (local skillet). Can come with sausage or pork ribs.
