Lots of frying in Belgium. What about Macedonia?

No, not that much frying in Belgium!!  Except for the famous french fries at local fritkots (chip stands) that purists traditionally fry in beef fat.

There is more frying in Macedonia as lots of their recipes call for breading and deep-frying.

The main difference though lies in a larger consumption of vegetables, simmered dishes and grilled meats in Macedonia.
