On Monday the 30th of March, the BMBC held its 2nd General Assembly.
This year we had a re-election of the board members as well. Mr Avram Stojcevski retired from the board and Mrs Frosina Georgievska was a candidate to replace him. The members voted unanimously for the new composition of the board.
Mrs Frosina Georgievska is a senior professional with over two decades of experience in multi-stakeholder regional cooperation, strategic communications, and program design and management, she brings expertise which is complementary to the business expertise already present in the Board. Her career in Skopje and Brussels has given her extensive familiarity with EU institutions, international financial institutions, and key donor governments, with a particular focus on development cooperation in the Western Balkans. Her core strengths span project cycle management, administrative and managerial support to multi-party initiatives, network building, and communications — complemented by proficiency in several European languages.
We are very pleased to have her on board and we are convinced that she will be of important added value to the BMBC.
For this year, we are planning different events of which we will send you the detailed list as soon as possible.
Maxim Prévot
We had the opportunity to meet with the Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maxim Prévot, during an informal reception, hosted by our Chef Marc De Jongh at his private residence. The minister expressed his gratitude towards the Macedonian Government, our Ambassador Paul Lambert, the honorary consuls, Elena Nikodinovska and Rayes Lemmens, and to the BMBC for the warm welcome. He also gives his support to the Belgian entrepreneurs in the country and he is convinced that the relationship between our two countries can only get stronger in the future.
For the BMBC this means that we will attract more members, so we can grow as a business community and strengthen our position in the country. As BMBC, we are not only there to organise events, but also to support you in every way.
