Luxembourg: a top worldwide hub for AI talent

With 3.18 AI professionals per 1,000 inhabitants, Luxembourg is a top worldwide hub for tech talent, No. 5 in the world behind Singapore, Ireland, Canada and Switzerland.

This comes out from the study “Talent in, Talent out” from the Interface Think Tank. It reveals that more AI talent is moving from the US to Europe than the other way around.

Luxembourg offers a support system for continuous learning and professional development. This includes dedicated programmes for skills training and AI adoption (such as Fit 4 AI), available through resources like the Luxembourg AI Factory.

AI develops well if the ecosystem is favorable. There needs to be a good base on the supply side, like universities and research facilities, but even more if there is a good demand situation: companies or institutions who search for AI solutions. Luxembourg is well situated in the finance and space sector. A third AI promoter is the availability of equity for startups..

The upcoming Nexus event – BMBC reported here – is a flagship AI event in Luxembourg to unite the community where all interested parties can meet.
