Earlier this week, the Belgian-Macedonian Business Club had the pleasure of participating in the traditional Iftar Dinner organized by our partners at the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia (OEMVP).
Iftar, the meal that breaks the daily fast during the holy month of Ramadan, is more than a culinary tradition — it’s a symbol of togetherness, generosity, and shared values. The evening brought together business representatives, political leaders, institutional partners, and members of the media in a warm atmosphere of cooperation and social unity.
OEMVP (Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia) is one of the Macedonian business chambers with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, SME development and regional economic growth. Through joint initiatives like the Hu-Ca-Thon HR project, BMBC and OEMVP are actively working to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities that connect the two countries.
The event took place in Skopje on March 3, 2026, at the beautiful premises of Nita Palace, one of OEMVP’s member companies. Notable guests included the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski, and the President of the Assembly, Mr. Afrim Gashi.
BMBC was represented by our president, Ms. Hilde de Saedeleir, who joined the event to strengthen personal ties and to highlight the continuous cooperation between Belgium and North Macedonia.
The Iftar reminded us that economic collaboration, much like cultural exchange, thrives on mutual respect and genuine dialogue. We are proud of the growing partnership between BMBC and OEMVP — one built on shared goals, trust, and the desire to create lasting value for businesses in both communities.
