Soroptimist International (SI), founded in 1921, is a global volunteer service for women with almost 66 000 members in 118 countries worldwide. At the heart of Soroptimist International’s advocacy is its work across five United Nations Centres, in which 12 Representatives ensure that the voices of women and girls around the world are included in international decision making.
Soroptimists presented their plans for the country on our Female Power Exchange on March 16th in Skopje and discussed the situation of women in the country.
Advice to young women:
Aleksandra: Work hard, learn from the better, networking. If you are the best in the group, leave to group and go somewhere were you are the last.
Marina: work, dream and help others. Expect one, two, three, .. ten failures. Failures will improve yourself.
Gordana: Failures are your best lessons. Never rely on the save zone, it does not exist. Be open for challenges. Cross the red line and go out.
Katerina: Be open to change.

Who Are the Soroptimists?
